{"id":233,"date":"2021-10-14T12:30:14","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T12:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hautruongtuonglai.vn\/handstage\/about\/"},"modified":"2025-03-14T11:46:35","modified_gmt":"2025-03-14T04:46:35","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hautruongtuonglai.vn\/en\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"Introduction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Backstage to the future<\/strong> is a social project using arts and creativity to create positive changes in safe migration and prevention of human trafficking in Vietnam.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project proposes a \u2018backstage\u2019 approach of capacity building to enable Vietnamese CSOs as dynamic players on the \u2018front stage\u2019 contributing to development processes. The project aims to strengthen CSOs\u2019 role in mobilising and sensitising all levels of society to support safe migration in Viet Nam. Within the scope of this project, participating CSOs employ innovative approaches and creative platforms in raising awareness, promoting behaviour change, and mobilising members of civil society, private sector actors, and legal and public bodies to respond to the pressing issue of human trafficking and unsafe migration. The project\u2019s focus is to benefit vulnerable populations at risk of trafficking or returned victims in urban, semi-rural and rural areas of Viet Nam by ensuring that they have information about the risks of trafficking and safe behaviours, receive support from diverse levels of society and can access public support services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall objective of the project is to contribute to enhancing the role of CSOs in Viet Nam\u2019s efforts to combat human trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific objective of the project is to assist various community organizations in implementing new approaches to mobilize diverse entities (agencies, organizations, businesses, communities) to work together to ensure safe migration and combat human trafficking in the provinces of Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-JUziIgs65Q\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The innovative approaches are using creative platforms such as forum theatre, viral video, online drama, TV talk shows, social media, apps, off-line cultural and creative events, etc to raise awareness and engage public community in in responding to the human trafficking and unsafe migration. These approaches will promote formal information about government support services available, to the wider society. This will ensure that victims and at-risk individuals have access to the support they need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backstage to the future is a social project using arts and creativity to create positive changes in safe migration and prevention of human trafficking in Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backstage to the Future is a three-year project between 2021 and 2024, co-funded by the European Union and the UK Government and implemented by the British Council in partnership with the Viet Nam Institute for Culture and Arts Studies and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Quang Binh, Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh), Can Loc (Ha Tinh) and Hai Phong City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/40D2TOWY6uo?si=iFz8C7BC3Zj01x1W\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This website and all its content have been handed over to Tea Talk Viet Nam and CoRE Community (Centre for Counselling, Research and Empowering Community) for further content development and management for the period of 2024 \u2013 2026.
